Transformational change
“You cannot plan a journey unless you know where you are” so said Mark Twain. So transformational change starts with diagnosis of where you are and creating a vision of where you want to be – then you can plan the journey. It also requires a deep understanding that transformational change requires both strategic alignment – all the bits of the task side of the plan being complementary, and also engagement – which means a plan for getting people on board and wanting to contribute. This is fundamentally more than a communications strategy, although that is part of the process. It means creating a way of engaging people both in creating the future and also the journey of getting there.
GLA offer a number of diagnostic tools and then roll out processes that check the current position, define the future, plan the journey and gets people joining in.
